I thought it was about time to take some updated self portraits. You know what I love about doing self portraits? I can be me. I don’t have anyone behind the camera that may or may not be judging what I am doing. I can be silly. I can be serious. I can make any face I want to make without being self-conscious. I can be free to play around artistically with my camera angles and settings. I ***LOVE*** taking self portraits!
I took the first set yesterday. After taking them off of the camera, I realized that I put lip gloss on, but I had no other make-up on at all. So, today I tried again with full battle paint. The first ones are a little more “real.” You can see my freckles, and it really is what my face looks like most days. I usually don’t wear make-up. But there is always something more “finished” about my face when it has a little help. Enough talk…here are the pics…

My favorite is the second set, photo #4. That is the look of you telling Wade “I love you” as you look into his eyes. That photo is so expressive and while that’s just my interpretation, it is a great photo.
