As usual. To recap…

Friday… My mood from Thursday was not improved. The people at CK (Creating Keepsakes for you non-scrapping folks…they are the ones that are holding the Hall of Fame contest) decided to change the call date. The lady who *always* does the calls will be gone Thursday through Saturday and therefore cannot make the calls on Friday as scheduled. Argh. So, the new call date will be next Monday. A week from today. I’ll need something to keep my hands and brain busy this week. On another HOF related note…Paulette asked about the contest (Hi Paulette!) and I thought I would give everyone else a little more insight as well. The Hall of Fame Contest is conducted by Creating Keepsakes, a scrapbooking magazine. They post a list of rules and assignments on their website and in the magazine usually in November. >>Click here if you would like to see the assignments<< And what do you win??? (copied and pasted from the CK website) 25 winners will be selected based on the criteria listed above. Each winner will win a cash prize of $500 and a prize package from our sponsors. Fifty (50) honorable-mention layouts will also be published and each honorable mention will receive $100 and a copy of Scrapbooker’s Hall of Fame 2007, vol.9.  So…this is what I’ve been so crazy about the past 4 or 5 months.

Saturday… I took half the day to go out and scrap with my friends. It was nice to be able to get out and have some fun. Unfortunately I have nothing to show for it. The pages that I made are going in Holly’s album and I’m still holding out to let her be surprised. *heehee*

Sunday… We decided to paint Benji’s room. His was the only room in the house without any color on the walls. That has all changed now. He wanted an ocean themed room, and I think we are going to give it to him! I will take pictures and post them when it is all done.
