This is NOT Kansas.

But it sure is sounding like a twister out there. We are under a high wind warning tonight. Some parts of our state may get up to 90 mph gusts tonight. *shudder* The sounds coming from outside are a little scary. Keep your fingers crossed that we don’t lose any shingles.

Scrapbooking yesterday was most fabulous. I got some work done on a mini-album that I am working on and I am IN LOVE with it. It will be submitted with a passion. My photo of the day for yesterday is a photo of my creative space yesterday. I love that out of all of the mess I can create something so beautiful.

Today, I spent a great deal of time knitting. I’ve knitted scarves for some of my closest friends and the boys are all complaining that I haven’t made them anything. So…Tyler’s is done. Avery’s is done. And then I had to take a break and start another fluffy one for me. Actually it’s for a scrapbook page…that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. (I see a little creative streak going this past weekend….)

Hey! I have a scrapbook page to share, too!! My first journaling challenge layout of the year. We are challenging our participants to scrapbook their resolutions for the year. I actually like how mine came out! (Sorry about the horrible picture of my layout. Our scanner has finally bit the dust. We have to decide what to do about that…)

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am looking forward to a whole week of school with no snow days….knock on wood.

  1. I want to come play!

I’m thinking about asking a friend to teach me how to knit. I want to make a blanket. Talk about starting big. 🙂
