I know I promised that I would post pictures yesterday. And then yesterday happened. A very good friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am so afraid for her. Why?? Why does this awful disease happen?? It’s not fair. But instead of sitting on my hands and crying in my beer, I am doing something. If you are reading this and would like to help, *please* e-mail me, or comment on the blog and I will e-mail you back. You don’t have to be crafty. You just have to have a heart.
And ironically…October is breast cancer awareness month. My friend Tia made a banner. She is rockin’ talented.
Thank you for listening.
You are awesome! I’m just waiting for the details and then you know I’m in.
hey cutie! please let me know how i can help. breast cancer awareness is my biggest cause and i’m not happy unless i’m helping someone. hugs, rach
Heather,
Count me in. Ironically, I just bought some pink stuff at the scrapbook store the other day in support of Breast Cancer awareness and in honor of a couple of friends of mine who have had it. Just let me know and I will do what I can.

Thank you, Heather. 🙂
Count me in. For the past few years all my “card sale” money has gone to Relay for Life so I am already working toward a cure but I am willing to do anything else I can. One of my fellow Media Specialists just walked in the 3 day walk and we sponsored her… I admire anyone who can do that!
Fill me in on the details when you decide what you want to do.
Just let me know! Love you.
I’m in AZ, but I would love to send a card. I always breathe a sigh of relief each year when I have a good mammography. I’m 64 and it is the most important thing I do for myself each summer.
