The wonderful ladies that I went to Chicago with and I are doing a circle journal. My theme…Ranidrops and Roses. I decided to take an “out of the box” approach to my journal. I’m usually nowhere near this ‘artsy’ with my scrapbooking. But this was FUN! I don’t think that I am ready to drop my “clean and simple” style completely. But letting go and doin’ it “freestyle” was just what I needed for this project. So here it is…. (The album is about 5×7 and is from 7Gypsies. Way cool! )
#1 Outside covers. The book has two parts. The “Raindrops” side and the “Roses” side. You have to flip the book over to get from one part to the other.
#2 An inside view of the opposite nature of the pages.
#3 and #4 The covers…
#5 and #6 The introduction and instruction pages are in the middle
#7 The sign in pages look like this.
#8 and #9 These are the quote pages at the beginning of each section. I think I might have gone a little bit crazy with the fuzzy rub-ons on the rose quote page. But they are SO fun to use!!
#10 and #11 My pages for my journal.
So there you have it! I can’t wait to see what the ladies come up with!! (And ladies, if you are reading this…what do you think?? 🙂 )
AMAZING! I can’t wait to get my hands on that book.

This is neat. I hope I get to see it in person so I can read it all.
Heather,
I believe I’ve learned more about you since you and Wade got married and moved to Colorado than all the years prior. You are extremely talented with all that you do and still you find time to share your life with others. I know that in each & everything you do, you touch the lives of others in a positive way. I see it in the way you are as a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother & as a friend. I too, am proud of you and while I cannot take credit for the person you’ve become, I do take pride in your accomplisments and the way you’ve become a important part of all our lives.
*Always take the time to tell the ones you love just how much you really care.
Love always,
Dad
