Day 24

It is day 24 of my once a day blogging. It is good for me. How are you guys doing out there in blog-reading land? Do you think this is something I should continue?? Weigh in! Let me know what you think!!

I do have a little “blog on hold” warning, though. Wade and I are taking the boys camping this weekend. I am 100% certain that we won’t have either internet or a computer, so I will be blogless. If I can, I’ll try to post up a little scrapbook page tomorrow morning before I leave. And of course I’ll update on Sunday when we get back, so you’ll only be without me for one day. lol!

I had some of my favorite crafty/scrappy ladies over today. Some made cards, some scrapped. My kind of day! Oh! Oh!! And! And!! I think I have found a babysitter for those times that Wade and I want to go out for a date!! My friend Emily brought her daughter with her today, and the boys fell in LOVE!! She played with them, and kept them entertained. I am so excited!!!

On to the pictures! I thought I’d put up some more of my faves from our trip to the Botanic Gardens.

Orchids! I LOVE orchids!! This was the best shot I got…

And this one…I just love it! It is the underside of an arbor that is covered in grapevines. The color and the lines were just beautiful!

Scrapbook pages are back!!!!!! Here’s one that I started on Saturday and finished today. Love all these pics of the boys!

  1. Heather,
    This scrapbook page needs SOUND!
The “EAGLES” song “Boys of Summer.”
Work on it – A scrapbook with SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Love you,
    Dad

  2. Keep on doing it! It makes me feel like, I’m there, watching them grow up! It makes me feel like, I’m part of your lives, every day. Plus, it’s cheaper than long distance phone calls and I get a visual. Hugs and kisses to all. Love Momma

  3. I love your Dad’s comment!
Hallmark is now marketing musical greeting cards. You just may be the first person to invent and market “oral history” scrapbook pages! You know,
record a Wav file onto a sound chip and work
into the page compositon. What do you think?

    Grandpa

    P.S.
I think all the ‘grands’ feel that
you should keep on blogging. 😉

    P.P.S
You must have made an A+ on your
    photography composition lesson.
    The botanic shots are terrific!

  4. Heather,
As you know I am new to your website but I would be lost now without your daily blogs! I have enjoyed them so much. It is great being in touch again after so long! Keep it up!! I love the “Boys of Summer” and agree with the music idea!
    Love ya,
    Paulette

  5. I second the “grands”. I would like you to keep blogging. I feel like I’m in the loop this way.

Hey, so have you gotten that dress yet????

    Holly
