My ducky friend has challenged me to take a photo a day for the month of November. I am going to try to do it. *Try* being the operative word. *wink*
As for those pumpkin carving pictures… I tried to pick a few to put up on the blog, but they are all just so darn cute! I think I’ll try to get Wade to find me a slideshow widget and get the pictures up here in a few days.
So, here we are…the first day of November. When ducky emailed me with the photo challenge, I looked out my backdoor and realized that my cherry tree has finally decided that it is fall. I’ve been trying to capture a photo of it in all four seasons, so I took this opportunity…
I went to walk closer to the tree and realized that our little friend had come out of his hiding spot. Our little friend is an orb weaving cat faced spider! (We had him identified on a bug site, so we believe that’s what he is.) I’m going to post his picture, but I want to warn anyone who is arachnophobic. I will post it at the very end of the post.
After taking all kinds of picture of our spider friend, I looked up an spotted this little guy on some leaves. I think this is my favorite picture for the day…
Now for the spider picture…
Don’t say I didn’t warn you…
really. seriously.
here he is!
See you tomorrow!
Way to work the macro settings, the spider shot is great in a creepy sort of way. Love the ladybug!
wow, kick ass photo! creepy spider. but very cool! maybe you should take a MACRO photo every day of the month, huh? huh? huh?
WOW. My kids say, variously, “That’s one BIG spider,” and “Ewwwwwww.”
I love the ladybug photo! That spider is really, really giving me the creeps, but it is an amazing photo!
AWESOME photos! maybe i should do that challenge to get my mind off things some. cheers to the macro!
