Spring Break + 70 degrees = CRAZY zoo. Just sayin’.
There were A LOT of people there. Luckily the boys were very well behaved and I didn’t have to work to hard to keep them within arms reach. We took a little picnic lunch and met a few friends to hang out with. The boys had so much sun and fresh air that they crawled into bed tonight without any fight. They were asleep within minutes. Gotta love that!
Here’s a pic of the four boys at the elephant exhibit…
Just a fun pic of shadows directed by my favorite ducky person…
The four boys waiting for the carousel…
Avery imitating the animal he was riding on…
Tyler on his ostrich…
Logan and his zebra
Benji imitating his animal….no wait….*wink*
And I just couldn’t resist putting this one in here…
I also fit in a little scrapping. This page is for our journaling challenge for this week. We were challenged to journal upside down. It was a really tough challenge for me. I found these pics and immediately got the journaling inspiration, but the page design was not coming. I pulled out my Cathy Zielske’s Clean & Simple idea book and got to scraplifting. Not my favorite page, but it’s done. *wink*
Goodnight all!
Great shots despite the crazy zoo, upside down journaling is crazy too, m,ine pics are perfect for that challenge. If I have the disco song upside down and round and round in my head all day, I’m blaming you.
sounds like a great day at the zoo, i SO need to get out there during these lovely sunny days. hugs, rachel
Bailey went to the zoo yesterday too. She went with a friend and when I heard about the zillons of people that were there, I was so glad to be home with a whiny child.
Love the pictures!
zillions is exactly the right word. we found that the “mundane” animal exhibits were fairly unpopular… you know, camels and caribou.
h, I tried to describe the hippo mouth-thing to tom and I just got a “you’re even crazier than I thought you were” look.
Awww they’ve grown so much! And Logan- wow! Tell Robin I said “hi” will ya?? You guys have some good looking boys there. Better watch out- the little girls will be calling your house non-stop in just a few short years.
GREAT photos! Very cool layout! Wished we could have been at the zoo with all of you!
Benji is growing up too fast, looks more and more like his daddy. Of course, they are all good looking!!!!!
