21 days

It has been said that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. I’ve got a few habits that I would like to take on… Number one: blogging every day. That one is going to keep me on my toes. Number two: *finish* my chores every day. I’ve already started on this one during the week, but the weekends have been deal killers. Gotta work on the weekend thing. Number three: create every day. I’ve been doing really well on this one too. I have to convince myself that this doesn’t mean that I have to *complete* a project everyday. I just want to get in  my studio and get my hands dirty each day.

Day one….check, check, check. Here I am blogging. My chores–done. Creativity: worked on a mini-album and made a page for my journaling challenge this week. Check it…(we were challenged to fill a shape, not rectangle, with our journaling without using sentences…fun!)

  1. Hey Heather I’ll do this with you. I like that you are allowing yourself to not have to finish any one project on that day, I think that is something that I struggle with, just walking away and being happy that I was creative. So here I go, I will do this habit forming 21 days too. Check my blog to see what my goals are:) Thanks for the kick in the pants.

  2. Good for you for working on habits. I need to do that! Love the layout, and I’m cracking up at the titles you gave all of us on your blog links! πŸ™‚

  3. Those are great goals.

Is it wrong that, for Houston’s One Word thing I only could think of “Sleep” and for this, all that comes to mind is “go to bed on time every night?”

I am a simple, simple woman.
