I’m totally tickled, and totally exhausted. (Doesn’t help that I picked this week to start running again…. ) I took a couple of pictures of her in her new home. She’s so dirty right now…lots and lots of pollen. Tomorrow she gets a good bath and a coat of wax and Armor All. *grin*
Good night, y’all!
OH MY GOODNESS heather, she’s adorable!!!! have fun and you will have to show her to us as soon as she’s ready for the big reveal. woo hoo!
Heather,
She looks really, really good but until you name her I will call her “Shutter Bug”. Even though I never had a “rag top” I did have several “bugs” and one V.W. Karmann Ghia. The “Karmann” nameplate on the side of “Shutter Bug” indicates the coach builder’s involvement in the design of that particular model. The year “1971” being the last year of the “flat” windshield. Even before the year 1971, Volkswagen was innovative with a “head liner” in a convertible.
Take good care of her and she will take care of you.
Enjoy her and keep us posted on her “real name.”
Love always,
Dad
Congratulations, Heather! Definitely layout worthy and then some! Have a great time tooling around town in that beauty!
hey nice car! I think I have a crush on your dad now, I love know-it-alls.
