Lazy day at home…

Yeah right. (Can you hear the sarcasm?) We stayed home today. That part is true. The boys played and played and played with Battleship and Legos and then they put on their swimsuits and went outside and played some more! Wade is going to be so happy tonight at bedtime. They are all going to crash…hard. As for me… I did four loads of laundry. Cleaned the kitchen and the living room and tried to do something creative to show you all today. But I only had an hour in which to be creative, so I didn’t get to do much.

Before we get to the picture and such for today…I need to give a shout out to my little brother. At the end of this month, he will be starting his culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta!! I am SO proud of him!! (OY! I just spent the last 5 minutes trying to find a picture of my brother and I don’t have anything even remotely recent. bleh! Evan…if you are reading this…throw me a bone here…send me some pics! That is all.)

My picture today is of all three of my boys! (Just for Amanda…heehee) I went out and took some shots while they were swimming. I did manage to get them to sit still for one group shot….

Unfortunately, no scrapbook page today…..BUT I did do a card! I wanted to sing the praises of this versatile craft I’ve gotten myself addicted to. haha! You know the page about Benji and his bubbles a few days ago? Well….I took the leftover paper and made two other projects! The first is a birthday tag for a far away friend and the other is a birthday card. I actually made six of these cards so that I would have some on hand for ’emergencies’. Enjoy!!

Oh…and don’t be afraid to leave a comment! I know you’re out there reading. If you talk to me, I don’t feel so much like I’m talking to a brick wall! (Big props to Amanda my blog buddy…she keeps me sane.)

  1. Heather:

I’ve been looking at your postings for a few days now and I look forward to your photos and scrapbook pages. I would be lucky if I was half as creative as you. Also, I’m impressed with your photography. Evertime I use our camera, the photo turns out grainy or extremely out of focus.

    Take care,

    Anne Stadler(cousin from Georgia)

  2. see I knew there were 3 of them. 🙂

i was a little nervous coming here today. i usually have your comment to remind me to check so i thought, maybe she didn’t post and if she didn’t i’d have to send threatening emails to you. but luckily I don’t have to do that today. 😛

  3. Heather,
The photo of the “Three Amigos” will be a classic!
I have a pic of the three of them on my phone. This one will replace it.
    Love,
    Dad
